A 5-day climbing course on the most beautiful cliffs in the southern Jura and Bugey mountains, less than an hour from Lyon. This climbing course is designed for climbers who want to discover or improve their rock climbing skills and learn safety techniques near Lyon, Annecy, and Geneva.
> DESCRIPTION
The course aims to explore the most beautiful cliffs in the southern Jura mountains in the Ain department: Bugey, a mountainous region located between Lyon and Geneva. We will be based in the Albarine Gorges, a river world-renowned for its trout fishing.
> PREREQUISITES FOR CLIMBING
This course is aimed at climbers with a 5a top-rope level and who do not necessarily have prior climbing experience in a natural single-pitch climbing area.
> COURSE PROGRAM
This 4-day course includes 3 days of climbing at a school crag and 1 day of multi-pitch climbing. Each day, we meet at 9:00 a.m. and head to the crag on foot or by vehicle. Lunch is taken at the bottom of the routes. The day ends at 5:00 p.m.

Originally from the Vosges Mountains, I've been climbing rocks since I was 12 years old. I love the natural environment of cliffs and large rock faces in the mountains above all else.
During the summer, I work as a climbing instructor and canyoning guide on the Hauteville Plateau in the Jura Mountains. During the winter and part of the summer, I'm a High Mountain Guide in the Mont Blanc region.
When I'm not taking clients to the mountains, cliffs, or canyoning, I enjoy discovering wild and sometimes unexplored places through climbing.

One of our goals is to make the right decisions to protect natural sites and limit our impact on ecosystems and the environment.
100% local: thanks to our local presence in Bugey, close to our practice sites, we reduce our travel to a minimum. We use sustainable and environmentally friendly equipment, manufactured in France or Europe. We work with partners located in the areas we visit: restaurants, bars, and accommodations.nWe will suggest taking public transportation to the meeting points (when possible!) or carpooling for outdoor outings.
Protecting the planet: it's natural!
Photography and imagery are part of our DNA. Take advantage of our video and photo equipment to take your adventure memories home with you!
After each outing, we'll send you photos and videos of the outing, free of charge and with a smile!
