Via ferrata 30 minutes from Oyonnax and Bellignat, discover the Regardoir via ferrata above Lake Vouglans. The Regardoir via ferrata is the most scenic via ferrata in the Jura Mountains. Located in the Jura department just north of Haut-Bugey, the Regardoir via ferrata offers breathtaking views of Lake Vouglans, fed by the Ain River.
1. PUBLIC AND GROUPS
Practitioners who have already practiced via ferrata or have prior climbing experience. In groups (adults, families with or without children). Children over 1.40 meters tall are welcome. For comfort and safety reasons, groups are limited to 8 people per guide.
Warning: This route is not recommended for people prone to severe vertigo.
2. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
On the program: the Regardoir via ferrata, with its ladders, rope bridges, and giant footbridge overlooking Lake Vouglans.
Activity duration: 2.5 hours
3. High-quality PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
As a guarantee of safety, the group is supervised by a professional instructor with a DEJEPS (Department of Climbing in Natural Environments) diploma or equivalent. The instructor is fully familiar with the via ferrata routes. The instructor is equipped with a rope to assist you on steep sections. Technical via ferrata equipment is provided by the instructor.
TOP TIP: 5 minutes from the via ferrata, the Jura village of Moirans en Montagne welcomes you for a meal.

Les Guides du Bugey is a team of independent climbing instructors and canyoning guides based in Bugey, in the southern Jura Mountains. Bugey is a mountainous region located in the Ain department, near Bourg-en-Bresse, Lyon, Chambéry, and Geneva.
Les Guides du Bugey will safely introduce you to the world of cliffs, canyons, and mountains in the most beautiful natural sites of Ain, Jura, and Savoie.
2025 PRICES
Individual (price per person): €50
Time slots are available for groups of 4 or more, otherwise you will complete a group. Maximum of 8 people per instructor on the Regardoir via ferrata course.
Private option:
* €400 for a group of 1 to 8 people
* €800 for a group of 9 to 16 people (2 instructors)
Every day from April to October, reservation required.
