VIA FERRATA from ROC de CORNILLON to Lac du Bourget: a via ferrata crossing with exceptional views of Lac du Bourget and the Bauges mountains near Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains. The Guides du Bugey offer this half-day via ferrata tour from Lyon with family or friends above the Col du Chat in Savoie. While not difficult, the route is very exposed and requires a good head for heights.
1. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
After a 30-minute uphill approach walk, you'll equip yourself with via ferrata equipment and begin the route. If you're not afraid of heights and are athletic, this via ferrata is ideal for a first experience. This half-day outing will allow you to discover magnificent views of the Bauges mountains, Lac du Bourget, and Aix-les-Bains in Savoie. On the program: aerial passages on cables, ladders, and rope bridges.
The proposed via ferrata route is accessible in less than an hour from Lyon, Aix-les-Bains, Annecy, or Chambéry.
The route is not technically difficult, but you should not be afraid of heights.

2. AUDIENCE
Practitioners who have never done via ferrata before or those with first-time experience. Groups (adults, families with or without children) are welcome. Children over 1.40 meters tall are welcome. For comfort and safety, groups are limited to 8 people. An instructor may lead larger groups depending on the participants' technical level.
Warning: For those prone to vertigo, please inform us when booking to avoid any surprises on the day.
3. High-quality PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
As a guarantee of safety, you will be accompanied by a professional instructor with a DEJEPS (Department of Educational Qualifications) certificate in Natural Environment Climbing or a mountain guide, the only qualifications required to supervise this activity. The instructor is fully familiar with the route.
4. TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT
The instructor provides the technical equipment necessary for the activity: helmet and harness equipped with a via ferrata lanyard. The equipment is inspected during each outing and complies with current PPE standards.
5. INSURANCE
The instructor has liability insurance covering their activity. However, participants must have liability insurance. Participants are advised to have their own personal insurance.

Les Guides du Bugey is a team of independent climbing instructors and canyoning guides based in Bugey, in the southern Jura Mountains. Bugey is a mountainous region located in the Ain department, near Bourg-en-Bresse, Lyon, Chambéry, and Geneva.
Les Guides du Bugey will safely introduce you to the world of cliffs, canyons, and mountains in the most beautiful natural sites of Ain, Jura, and Savoie.

Individual (price per person):
GROUP PACKAGE (3 hours): €50 per person
Time slots are available for groups of 4 or more, otherwise you will complete a group. Maximum of 8 people per instructor.
PRIVATE PACKAGE:
* €400 for a group of 1 to 8 people
* €800 for a group of 9 to 16 people (2 instructors)
