The detailed program

Canyoning in the Jura Mountains in the magnificent Tacon Canyon in Coiserette, 20 minutes from Oyonnax and 1 hour 15 minutes from Lyon and Geneva. For adults and children over 12 years old in good physical condition and able to swim.

1. ACTIVITY COURSE AND LOCATION

Meet in the Jura Mountains near the small village of Coiserette. Over the years, the Tacon River has carved magnificent gorges into the limestone. The Coiserette Canyon offers a long succession of waterfalls and gorges that can be canyoned in summer.

Depending on water and weather conditions, other canyons may be offered. * Le Grosdar in Saint-Claude (Jura), 1 hour from Lyon
* Any combination of two canyons: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, interspersed with a picnic.

Discover the canyons in the Jura on the blog: https://www.escalade-montagne.fr/canyoning/jura/

For route selection, let us guide you when booking; we will suggest the best route based on your location and the fitness level of your group. Please note: depending on water conditions and for obvious safety reasons in the canyons, the route chosen at booking may be subject to change.

Environment, public transport and carpooling

One of our goals is to make the right decisions to protect natural sites and limit our impact on ecosystems and the environment.

100% local: thanks to our local presence in Bugey, close to our practice sites, we reduce our travel to a minimum. We use sustainable and environmentally friendly equipment, manufactured in France or Europe. We work with partners located in the areas we visit: restaurants, bars, and accommodations.nWe will suggest taking public transportation to the meeting points (when possible!) or carpooling for outdoor outings.

Protecting the planet: it's natural!

Photos and Videos

Photography and imagery are part of our DNA. Take advantage of our video and photo equipment to take your adventure memories home with you!

After each outing, we'll send you photos and videos of the outing, free of charge and with a smile!
